Textyle-Expo ALGERIA

Textyle-Expo”, is an International Exhibition of Textile and Fashion under the high patronage of Mister the Minister of Industry and Mines, gathering national and international professional actors of Textile and Fashion industry in order to develop this latter and encourage investment in Algeria and the rest of the Mediterranean countries. The second edition of this event will be held from 25 to 28 April 2018 in CCO Oran, Algeria. . In parallel of the exhibition which ranges the different sectors “Raw Materials, Machinery and Process, Design until Ready to Wear, House Linen, Tapestry and Accessories” conferences will be organized by national and international master speakers and a Fashion Show will host designers to present their new collections.

General Information

Textyle-Expo is an international Fair of Textile and Fashion, with the aim of highlighting the offers of different national and international exhibitors for new collaborations, exchanges and partnerships in order to increase the productivity of the sector and improve the quality And the rate of trade in this field.

Through the organization of the first edition of the international Textile and Fashion Fair which took place from 02 to 05 April 2017 at the Mohamed Ben Ahmed Convention Center Le Méridien Oran Algeria, with the participation of more Of 110 exhibitors and more than 6000 visitors from different countries (Algeria – Tunisia – China – India – Taiwan – Turkey – USA – Europe …), innovative action of quality that mobilized public power, professionals and consumers, which can play a leading role in the field of innovation in Algeria, Africa and even the countries of the Mediterranean.

Textile in Algeria :
The Textile and Clothing market in Algeria represents about 500 million linear meters, the needs are around 150 million items annually, while the national sector covers only 6% of these needs and the rest is invaded at 94 % by import. According to statisticians, the sector is growing by 11.1% in 2015 after falling by -0.3% in 2014.

the Textile sector has enormous potentialities that must be exploited to revitalize this sector, regain the internal market and take advantage of its Mediterranean position, the unused space and the young active workforce.

The Textile sector is a strategic subsidiary with a strong future, with a powerful potential to reach a total of 2 billion euro of Textile and Clothing exports by 2022 according to statistics and plans proposed by the experts in the sector.
