About This Experience

Langtang Valley Trek incorporates a venture into the beautifully remote valley of Langtang with its high mountain lakes and the beautiful Kyanjin Gompa. The Langtang Valley Trekking trail is nestled in one of the most unspoiled national park of Nepal, to the north of Kathmandu near the Tibetan border and is the most easily accessible highland sanctuary from the capital. Snow-capped mountains encapsulate this remote valley with the peak of Langtang Lirung (7246m) dominating the skyline while thick forests, lush farmland, traditional villages and the deep gorges of the Bhote Koshi and the Langtang Khola prevail on the valley floor.

• The colorful rhododendron, oak, maple and alder tree forests are home to an array of wildlife; wild boar, Himalayan black bears, ghoral, grey langur monkeys, leopards, musk deer and the endangered red panda all call this lush, green sanctuary home.
