Biography
Katalin Énekes is a leadership and organizational development expert, program architect, curriculum innovator and international facilitator with more than 20 years of experience spanning leadership development, adult learning, education, STEM and large-scale transformation.
As Founder of Horizon Leadership, she designs leadership frameworks, learning ecosystems and cross-cultural development programs that help individuals, teams and organizations navigate complexity, strengthen collaboration and turn learning into sustainable change. Her work sits at the intersection of leadership, communication, learning design, facilitation and human-centered organizational development.
Katalin has extensive experience designing and implementing large-scale educational and professional development programs. She contributed to national digital education initiatives in Hungary, including curriculum development, Train-the-Trainer programs, mentoring and digital learning implementation reaching thousands of educators and hundreds of schools. She also worked on the adaptation of an international teaching methodology in collaboration with experts from Cambridge University and Budapest Metropolitan University.
She is the creator of Women for Peace, an international leadership and peacebuilding program for women, for which she developed the concept, curriculum, methodology, learning framework and facilitator approach, and led its first international pilot. She is currently developing Leading Across Differences, her signature cross-cultural leadership initiative focused on helping people lead, communicate and collaborate more effectively across cultural, professional and human differences.
Her speaking experience spans international leadership, women’s empowerment, education and academic settings. Recent engagements include The Great Awakening – International Women’s Conference in Lagos, where she spoke on “Leading with Peace, Confidence, Presence and Purpose,” and the Exceptional Girls International Conference in Lagos, where she served as Facilitator and Speaker.
Her earlier academic speaking experience includes lectures at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) and the Mathematics History and Teaching Conference in Hungary. Her interdisciplinary background in mathematics, physics, STEM and digital education also connects her work to the technology sector. Her international professional experience includes participation in the Women in Technology and Global Women’s Networking programs at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2026 in Houston.
Across her work, Katalin is guided by one central idea: meaningful development is not simply about delivering training. It is about designing the systems, frameworks and learning experiences that enable people and organizations to create lasting change.
