About This Experience

Egypt 1 offers a lot packed into a short approach and exit. Those with high skill levels can downclimb the entire canyon. Others will do 3 short rappels.

• The narrows are quite good, and the challenges just hard enough to keep it interesting.
• With competent leadership, this is a great family or beginner friendly canyon.
• The downclimbs yield fairly easily to team work and partner catches / assists.
• Though this canyon can hold a bit of water at times after very heavy rains.
• Tours are conditional to weather.
