Mother Earth Conversation with Human beings:
Earth: “Human, why did not you realize that persistent exploitation of my resources since the 1900’s would badly mar my environment?”
Human: “We are sorry, Earth. We were pushed for industrialization and optimum utilization of economies. We got so myopic that we lost our focus upon the damage we did. Now we realize our mistake.”.

Earth: “How could you justify polluting my oceans, deforestation of lands and mass extinction of species? Couldn’t you envision the repercussions?”
Human: “Looking back we did not interpret the data properly. We allowed industries to change without much regard for the long-term impacts. But the future today could be seen in a country like Sweden and Denmark where such issues and stabilization of the ecosystem are becoming buzzwords.”.
Earth: “What are you doing to make green practices universal and legal? How do you plan on motivating countries that will not accept climate change?”
Human: “In all the nations around the world from Germany, India, and more there has been legalized phenomenal green energy programs; though nations are working very hard to renew and standardize policies across the globe, work still has to be done. For instance, Brazil took some time to react on deforestation that defeated some of the set milestones.
Earth: “Why do some of your leaders still attack environmental actions, thus delaying extremely crucial agreements, such as the Paris Climate Accord? Can you maximise cooperation?”
Human: “Yes, Earth, we hear your call. The UN and SDG initiatives globalize efforts so that the USA, China, and other states bring their initiatives. Leading voices in sustainability like Norway and Costa Rica pave the way for a more collaborative approach.”
Earth: “What about your plans to upgrade industries? Will you sacrifice profit over lowering emissions?”
Human: “We are trying to digitize and industrialize the most sustainable way possible. The adoption of electric vehicles and usage of renewable energy are the best examples of how we are trying to optimize the future.
Earth: “And those countries which are still playing havoc with their commitments toward me, how will you handle that?”
Human: “We have ratified some of these policies through international agreements, but strengthening what is enacted is still a major issue. We are aggressively pursuing ways to fortify global cooperation, and countries like Canada are strengthening environmental regulations.”
Earth: “How do you intend to cement the progress that you’ve made? Will future generations amplify these efforts?
Human: “Through initiatives like SDG.org, we are providing a way for the younger generation to take the reins and revitalize such efforts. We look at education and awareness as some of the ways through which green practices will be normalized as well as embraced by the younger generations to take over.
Earth: “Can you walk me through how you intend to address the increasing temperatures and weather patterns that seem to keep shifting?”
Human: “We are fully conscious of the situation. Countries are cooperating for coastal defense and maximizing disaster management. Countries like Japan and the Netherlands are currently in the lead where infrastructure structures are stabilized to be able to bear natural disasters.”
Earth: “Will you ever prioritize me over economic gains?”
Human: “That’s our goal. Sorry for the past neglect, but countries like New Zealand and Bhutan have begun glorifying sustainability as a foundation of economic prosperity.”
